For non-US businesses or individuals, setting up an ACH account can be a bit tricky. This article outlines two options—using Airwallex or Wise—to help you establish a USD ACH account and seamlessly handle payments on Contra.
Option #1: Global Accounts through Airwallex
Go to Airwallex and complete onboarding.
Set up a United States global account.
Fund your account to hold a USD balance.
Obtain your ACH payment credentials (account and routing number).
Visit Contra Payment Methods and set up a US Bank Account.
You may need to complete additional Stripe verification through a micro deposit, which can take 1-2 business days.
Once verified, you're ready to pay!
