Managing your Contra account allows you to tailor your experience to your specific needs. Here's how to navigate your account settings effectively:
Changing Your Email: If you need to update the email associated with your account, follow these simple steps:
Go to your "Account Settings" page.
Update the email in the Email field.
Click "Save Changes."
Check your email inbox and follow the link to confirm the email address update.
Switching Account Types: You can freely switch between Hiring and Contractor profiles.
Click your avatar.
Select "Switch to Hiring" or "Switch to Independent" to toggle between profiles.
Deleting Your Account: If you've decided to part ways with Contra, we're sorry to see you go! However, we value your feedback and would appreciate hearing about your experience. To delete your account permanently:
Go to your "Account Settings."
Click "Delete Account," and then at the bottom of the page.
Click "Permanently Delete Account."
Keep in mind that you have 30 days before your account is permanently deleted, allowing you time to reconsider if you change your mind.
