Understanding the Bonus Feature

Bonuses on Contra allow you to highlight and reward outstanding work performed by contractors. Here's an overview of how the bonus feature works:

  • Optional Appreciation: Bonuses are optional and not required.

  • Direct Payments: Bonuses are paid directly to contractors through Contra, with no commission fees deducted.

  • Notification: Contractors receive a notification when they receive a bonus, acknowledging their hard work and dedication to the project.

How to Send Bonuses

You can easily send bonuses by following these simple steps:

  1. Approve Deliverables: Once the contractor submits the project deliverables and you approve them, the option to leave a bonus becomes available.

  2. Leave a Bonus: You can choose to leave a bonus and enter the desired amount to reward the contractor for their work.

  3. Notification: After sending the bonus, the contractor receives a notification.

Troubleshooting Bonus Payments

In case of issues with bonus payments, you can take the following steps:

  • Failed Bonus Payment: If a bonus payment fails, you should promptly contact client.success@contra.com for assistance in resolving the issue.

  • Receipt for Bonus Payment: You can find receipts for bonus payments and all other transactions on your Payments page. Simply navigate to the Payments page and look under "Transactions" to access the relevant information.
